Chic Celebrations Archive

It’s been a fun couple of weeks! Here are a few of the lovelies we’ve been snapping…

An envelope of gorgeous goodies arrived from the talented Victoria Hoke Lane

Obsessed with my new Starbucks mugs!! I think I may have started to drink even more coffee because of them.

Charley’s 1st Birthday

I cannot believe that my tiny assistant is already A YEAR OLD! This year has been such a whirlwind and I have been lucky enough to spend most of it with this little lady. Charley, you are such a sassy little girl and I love watching you grow, play and develop your own personality. Being your momma is the best, hardest, funnest (is that a word?) job in the whole world.

For her first birthday party I wanted something she could walk around and watch. She isn’t the greatest swimmer yet, so the pool was out (had I known it would be 104 that day – I might have rethought that). We decided on lawn games and lunch. We had beanbag toss, lawn tic tac toe, bocce ball and giant jenga. Instead of goodie bags, I wanted something that the kids (and adults) could hang on to. A caricature artist was perfect! We had so much fun, can’t wait for next year. For more pictures than these ones, check out Krista’s site.

Thank you SO SO SO SO much to my friend Krista Mason, who came to celebrate Charley and take these amazing pictures. I can’t thank you enough for the memories. xoxo

Wish Upon a Wedding!
For those of you looking to do something to give back, this is it. When I first heard about Wish Upon a Wedding, I knew I needed to get involved. W.U.W is America’s only wedding wish granting organization, granting weddings & civil union ceremonies at destinations across the US to couples facing terminal illness. I am honored that I was accepted to serve on the Los Angeles/Orange County Board of Directors. Liz Guthrie of San Jose Wedding Consultants is the founder of Wish Upon a Wedding, and I am excited to be working for such a great cause alongside her and a tone of other fab industry pros. Head over to the website to learn more about how you can help, submit a wish or start a chapter in your area.
